City square Marshal Tito (Titov trg) connects the Old town of Rovinj and the newer part of Rovinj.
The town square was built in the 17th century and was called Piazza della Riva and later Square Vitorio Emanuele III.
Today in the middle of the square there is a fountain, built in 1959th year. Only twenty meters from the fountain there is a tower with the City clock from the 19th century.
The clock has a Venetian lion and the symbol of Serenissima. Next to the tower there are situated a few coffee bars where you can drink coffee, eat homemade ice cream and cake or find shade under umbrellas during the summer heat.
On the other side, lies the Hotel Adriatic with its urban café and only a few meters away there is a Heritage Museum of Rovinj. Among the Hotel Adriatic and Heritage Museum there is located the main entrance to the Old city of Rovinj.
Above the entrance is a Baroque Archway Balbiˈs Arch, which is Venetian building coated with stone from the 1678th to 1679th year.
