In the Rovinj cemetery there are several beautifully shaped trees of pyramidal cypresses (Cupressus sempervirens var. Pyramidalis L.). The cypresses are very different in height, because some of them were planted later than other ones.
The height of the older cypresses is over 15 meters and there are altogether 115 valuable cypress trees arranged in 8 rows. The total area of the protected area is 1 595 ha.
